The technique uses abnormal working conditions to make the processor error, and then provides additional access to the attack. The most widely used fault generating means of attack include voltage shock and clock shocks. Low voltage and high voltage attacks can be used to prohibit the operation of the protection circuit or forced the processor to perform the wrong operation. The clock transient jump may be reset to protect the circuit without damaging the protected information. Power and clock transients can jump effect of decoding and execution in certain single processor instruction.
